NAC, UNAIDS Solicit Stakeholders’ Inputs

The National AIDS Commission of Liberia (NAC) and UNAIDS have jointly concluded a long key stakeholders engagement meeting to review findings from the Integrated Bio-behavioral Surveillance Survey (IBBSS 2018) before it is launch.
Attended by key development partners in Liberia including World Health Organization, USAID’s funded project EPIC/FHI360, United Nations Development Program and various civil organizations, coincided with the presentation of the ECOWAS 2020-2025 regional strategy for HIV, TB and SRHR amongst Key Population in the region.
ECOWAS countries were requested to send feedback by the end of February.
The meeting was also attended by UNAIDS’ Human Rights and Gender Consultant, BBSS Consultant and the global Fund Lead Consultant as well the two national consultants (NSP Costing and Community Engagement) to listen to inputs and recommendations from these civil society organizations.
