NAC and Transitional Team meet; Highlight Challenges the Commission faces

As the transition from president George Weah to the Joseph Nyumah Boakai regime gradually approach, the transitional Team today met with the chairperson and heads of various mandates of the Commission.
Giving an overview of the Commission, the chairperson Theodosia Kolee highlighted challenges the Commission faced over the last six years, ranging from financial support from central government and donors, lack of vehicles for the smooth running of the Commission and other obstacles causing stalemate.
Madam Kolee emphasized the need for a reburst action if the next government wants to see an HIV free country, as she presented copies of the OGANOGRAM of the Commission to the team.
The transitional Team today was represented by Dr. Cecelia Nuetah and Richard Kollie who acknowledged receipt of the documents and took a tour of the offices of each department.
The transitional team promised a next visit where doubts will be cleared after thoroughly scrutinizing the documents
